About This Hosta
No hosta collection could be considered complete without 'Gold Standard'. It makes a very attractive wide mound of gold centered green margined foliage. In the spring the foliage is medium green but by early July the distinctive colouring emerges getting brighter as the summer goes by. It really lights up a shady corner but also demonstrates good sun tolerance. E. Fisher award winner.
