Bloomerang® Showmound®’ is a compact, reblooming lilac prized for its fragrant clusters of pure white flowers and tidy mounded habit. Dense panicles of blossoms appear in late spring, filling the shrub with classic lilac fragrance. After a short rest, the plant produces a second flush of blooms from midsummer into fall, extending the lilac season far beyond traditional varieties. Its small size and neat form make it ideal for borders, containers, and smaller gardens.

Growing and Maintenance Tips

Plant in full sun in well-drained soil; lilacs perform poorly in soggy conditions and require good drainage. This reblooming lilac flowers on both old and new wood, producing spring blooms and then reblooming on new growth later in the season. Prune lightly right after the spring bloom if shaping is needed. Regular watering during establishment and good sunlight encourage strong growth and better reblooming.
