Lilac

The Bloomerang series of reblooming lilacs has come a long way since the introduction of the original.  'Bloomerang Ballet' lilac is  the strongest, most prolific rebloomer yet! After an abundant spring display of fragrant, pink-purple flowers, it takes a brief rest then comes roaring back with a heavy set of flowers in late summer through fall.

Growing and Maintenance Tips

Lilacs are generally very easy care shrubs. Plant them in full sun in moist, well drained soil. Lilacs do not like wet sites especially in the winter. Prune immediately after to bloom to correct crossed branches or remove any broken limbs. Lilacs bloom on last year's wood. If you prune too early or too late, you'll lose the flowers for next spring. If you prune right after flowering and before seeds are formed it will produce abundant flowers the next year.
