Rosa ‘Cherry Frost’ is a cold-hardy climbing rose known for its abundant clusters of small, dark cherry-red, semi-double blooms that repeat from spring through fall. The vivid red colour and continuous flowering throughout the season give strong visual impact on arbors, trellises, fences, or as a vigorous shrub, and its sturdy canes support a generous floral display without excessive support. The blooms are typically only lightly scented.

Growing and Maintenance Tips

Prune in early spring to remove winter damage and shape; because it blooms continuously, avoid heavy pruning mid-season. ‘Cherry Frost’ is noted for very good disease resistance and robust performance in colder climates.
Bloomfest Garden Art Show and Sale July 18-27, 2025
Our annual Bloomfest Garden Art Show and Sale begins on July 18th.
We’re proud to showcase the work of 22 talented artists, displayed throughout our gardens. During the show, we are open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The gardens will be in full bloom, and the daylily field promises to be spectacular. Our benches will be filled with beautiful plants—many grown especially for this event.
If you are parking on the road, please park on the same side as the nursery to ensure safety and smooth traffic flow.
Our plant selection changes constantly throughout the season. If you’re looking for something specific, we recommend calling or emailing in advance. We also offer a design service to help you choose the best plants for your outdoor space.
