PJM Elite is a neat, compact shrub with an attractive rounded shape. It is covered with clusters of vibrant lavender-pink flowers in spring. Prized for winter hardiness, this P.J.M rhododendron has glossy, dark green foliage that takes on red-purple hues in fall and winter. An excellent choice for borders, mass plantings, or containers. Evergreen.

Growing and Maintenance Tips

Rhododendrons prefer acidic soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5. Ensure that the soil is well drained but moist. We also recommend adding a layer of mulch around the base of the plant to help retain moisture and protect the roots in harsh winters. Fertilize in spring with a rhododendron fertilizer. Pruning Rhododendrons should be done with care. Trim lightly after the bush is done flowering in early spring. But do not not too much, as this plant blooms on old wood.
