Deutzia ‘Yuki Cherry Blossom®’ is a low, spreading shrub covered in soft shell-pink flowers in spring, creating the appearance of drifting cherry blossom petals. The graceful arching habit forms a dense groundcover-like mound that works beautifully along borders, slopes, and pathways. Fine-textured foliage provides a clean green backdrop through summer before developing attractive burgundy tones in fall, giving the plant multi-season appeal. This is a zone 5 plant with reports of success in our area.

Growing and Maintenance Tips
Grow in full sun to part shade in average, well-drained soil. This adaptable shrub tolerates a range of soil types once established and is relatively drought tolerant. Flowering occurs on old wood, so prune lightly after flowering if shaping is required. Minimal maintenance is needed beyond occasional thinning to maintain a tidy habit.
Bloomfest Garden Art Show and Sale July 18-27, 2025
Our annual Bloomfest Garden Art Show and Sale begins on July 18th.
We’re proud to showcase the work of 22 talented artists, displayed throughout our gardens. During the show, we are open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The gardens will be in full bloom, and the daylily field promises to be spectacular. Our benches will be filled with beautiful plants—many grown especially for this event.
If you are parking on the road, please park on the same side as the nursery to ensure safety and smooth traffic flow.
Our plant selection changes constantly throughout the season. If you’re looking for something specific, we recommend calling or emailing in advance. We also offer a design service to help you choose the best plants for your outdoor space.
