Stonecrop

This is no ordinary Sedum! It is an eyecatcher with its beautifully variegated foliage. The small, serrated leaves are dark green with very wide creamy yellow margins. From a distance, the margins are what catch your eye. The creamy margins become tinged with pink blush tones with cold temperatures late in fall. 'Atlantis' is a great choice for tucking into rock gardens or dry landscapes, or in combination container with succulents! It makes a solid mat that will form a groundcover in sunny, dry areas.

Growing and Maintenance Tips

Sedums are "plant and forget" perennials. Because of their ability to store water in their thick succulent leaves they are very drought tolerant. They do well in average well drained soil in full sun to light shade. Do not add extra organic material because this will make the plants open and floppy.
