Perennial Sage

'Back to the Fuchsia' is the darkest pink of the COLOR SPIRES® Collection.  This variety produces fuchsia pink flowers on dark charcoal stems. The flowers are produced prolifically above a canopy of dark green leaves.  This variety is a cross between S. nemorosa and S. pratensis. It will  rebloom if sheared back. Salvia is a staple for every sunny garden. It asks little more than sunshine and a little drink every once in a while in return for producing a bountiful mass of colourful flower spires from late spring into early summer.

Growing and Maintenance Tips

Salvia ia an easy perennial to grow in most gardens. It likes full sun and is quite drought tolerant. Deadheading the spent flowers will encourage rebloom from the side shoots. When all bloom is finished cut it to the basal rosette. It will often bloom again although not as prolifically.
