Liatris 'Kobold' is a shorter cultivar than the species growing only half as tall. It has bright, rosy lavender flower wands that open from the top down. It is a staple of any cutting or butterfly garden.

Growing and Maintenance Tips

Liatris thrives in moist but well drained soil in full sun. They are drought tolerant once established. The roots are tuberous and can be lifted every three or four years in early fall, split and replanted.
