Growing and Maintenance Tips
This hardy hibiscus thrives in full sun and rich, moist soil. Consistent watering is important for best flowering performance. Plants emerge late in spring and benefit from warm conditions to grow vigorously. Cut back stems in early spring. It performs best in sheltered, sunny garden locations.

Bloomfest Garden Art Show and Sale July 18-27, 2025
Our annual Bloomfest Garden Art Show and Sale begins on July 18th.
We’re proud to showcase the work of 22 talented artists, displayed throughout our gardens. During the show, we are open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The gardens will be in full bloom, and the daylily field promises to be spectacular. Our benches will be filled with beautiful plants—many grown especially for this event.
If you are parking on the road, please park on the same side as the nursery to ensure safety and smooth traffic flow.
Our plant selection changes constantly throughout the season. If you’re looking for something specific, we recommend calling or emailing in advance. We also offer a design service to help you choose the best plants for your outdoor space.
