'Whirlwind Romance' has dark burgundy veins over white petals, with the back of the petal showing dark burgundy colour. Compared to 'Blushing Bridesmaid' this variety is a darker burgundy with more colour saturation at petal tips. This selection is part of The WEDDING PARTY® series showcasing double flowered selections with large flowers and a strong growth habit.

Growing and Maintenance Tips
Despite their reputation of being hard to grow, Hellebores are not fussy plants. Give them rich, moist organic soil and shade from hot afternoon sun during the summer. They can even tolerate short periods of drought. Hellebores are evergreen so after the plants are actively growing trim back any foliage that has been damaged in the winter. Hellebores are poisonous so do not consume any part of the plant.

Spring Opening and Garden Art Show
The first day of the 2024 garden season is Saturday, April 27th. This year we will continue with our regular hours of Wednesday to Sunday. Please note that during our Bloomfest Garden Art Show from July 20 to July 28 we are open every day.
