Helleborus 'Moondance' has white, outward-facing blooms with golden-yellow stamens; as they age, the petals develop a soft green tint. The dark green leaves are adorned with silver veining and fhave a low mounded habit.

Growing and Maintenance Tips
Hellebores have a reputation for being tricky, but they’re actually quite easy to grow. Give them rich, moist, organic soil and protection from hot afternoon sun in the summer, and they’ll thrive. They’re even able to tolerate short periods of drought once established. Because hellebores are evergreen, it’s a good idea to trim back any winter-damaged foliage in early spring once new growth begins.
Important: Hellebores are toxic — do not consume any part of the plant.

The garden opens for the season on Thursday May 1, 2025. We have two special Hellebore Hurrah Weekends before we open on Apr 19 and 20 and Apr 25, 26 and 27 to showcase our beautiful Hellebores. The hours are 9:30 to 4. Our stock changes constantly throughout the season so we advise you to call ahead or email if there is a specific plant(s) you are looking for. We also offer a design service to help you select the best plants for your outdoor space.
