Cranesbill Geranium

If you're looking for a great geranium that's tried and true, Geranium 'Azure Rush' is a great choice.  It has been an outstanding plant in our display gardens for many years.  'Azure Rush' is a sport of Geranium 'Rozanne,' which was the 2008 Perennial Plant Association Perennial Plant of the Year.  This geranium features all the same great characteristics of its parents with a few differences.  'Azure Rush' is a lighter blue color than 'Rozanne,' and it has a much tighter growth habit. According to the breeder, Blooms of Bressingham, where 'Rozanne'® rambles 'Azure Rush'® ambles, due to having shorter internodes which make it neater and lower-growing. 'Azure Rush' has a very long bloom period providing colour from June to September.  We use it to edge a daylily garden where its lovely, large, blue flowers are produced all summer long.
