For anyone looking for a large garden perennial, Filipendula camtschatica is a great choice. This tall summer flowering perennial is native to Japan and China. It has long serrated leaves and bears fragrant white flowers that are very attractive to honey bees and butterflies. It is rarely offered for sale.
