"Watermelon Deluxe' Coneflower produces large, daisy-like flowers with watermelon-pink petals surrounding a prominent orange-brown cone. The vibrant blooms are held on sturdy stems above a mound of dark green foliage, creating a bright display through summer. Its bold colour and strong garden performance make it a standout in perennial borders and pollinator plantings.

Growing and Maintenance Tips
Coneflowers grow best in full sun and well-drained soil but tolerate a range of soil types once established. They will not tolerate winter wet. They are drought tolerant and require minimal maintenance aside from removing spent flowers if desired. Plants are long-blooming and provide valuable nectar for pollinators throughout the summer months.

Bloomfest Garden Art Show and Sale July 18-27, 2025
Our annual Bloomfest Garden Art Show and Sale begins on July 18th.
We’re proud to showcase the work of 22 talented artists, displayed throughout our gardens. During the show, we are open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The gardens will be in full bloom, and the daylily field promises to be spectacular. Our benches will be filled with beautiful plants—many grown especially for this event.
If you are parking on the road, please park on the same side as the nursery to ensure safety and smooth traffic flow.
Our plant selection changes constantly throughout the season. If you’re looking for something specific, we recommend calling or emailing in advance. We also offer a design service to help you choose the best plants for your outdoor space.
