The Mammoth series of Chrysanthemums were developed in Minnesota to be a reliable alternative to the throw away fall mums that do not survive our winters. They are vigourous and long blooming and can reach the size of small shrubs when they mature. 'Mammoth Coral' produces loads of large semi-double coral-pink daisy flowers with yellow centers. Mature plants make an impressive mound with hundreds of blooms.

Growing and Maintenance Tips
Grow Mammoth Mums in average well drained soil in full sun to light shade. They do not require pinching, pruning or deadheading. If desired they can be pinched in June to keep the plant more compact. They will take at least two seasons to reach their mature height and width. A mulch to conserve moisture and prevent the hot sun from baking the roots of the plants is highly recommended. It is also suggested by the breeder that they should not be cut back until the spring.
