Growing and Maintenance Tips

Cedars are easy to grow and adaptable to a wide range of soil conditions. Amend the soil by adding compost and ensure that they receive regular watering because cedars need an evenly moist soil. Mulching the root zone will also help to keep the soil moist. They will tolerate partial sun but too much shade will make them lanky and open. They tolerate shearing to shape them.
