'Niagara Falls' Eastern White Pine

This beautiful cascading White Pine was chosen as the 2009 Collector's Conifer of the Year. A sport of pendula, this compact, weeping form boasts many draping branches and long, two-tone needles with amber gold on every tip. Every dense, wide specimen develops a unique character. It is the perfect choice to frame a water feature, thread through rocks or blanket a slope.

Growing and Maintenance Tips

'Niagara Falls' prefers average well drained soil that has been amended with organic material. It prefers soil that is acidic. It will not tolerate a wet site. It also shows good resistance to pests. It is not shade tolerant although ours thrives in only morning sun.
