Summer Phlox

'Prismatic Pink' has large, well-formed panicles of bubblegum pink flowers with dark pink eyes. This variety matches the height of the rest of the collection; making it perfect for the middle of the border.  The Luminary Collection of Phlox from Proven Winners all exhibit excellent mildew resistance. Phlox are one of the best plants to attract butterflies to the garden.

Growing and Maintenance Tips

Phlox needs rich, well drained soil that does not dry out to look its best. It is a heavy feeder so a fall mulch with compost is beneficial to keep up the organic level in the soil. The varieties we sell have mildew resistant but do not overcrowd this plant. It needs good air circulation.
