Picea 'Acrocona' has remarkable bright raspberry red cones on the tips of its branches in the spring even when young.  It will slowly grow into a broad, spreading pyramid.  It makes a unique garden accent because of its unusual, dense multi-stemmed growth habit.

Picea abies 'Acrocona' is a easy conifer to grow in average, well drained soil in full sun.  It will not tolerate wet sites.  It is slow growing and will not require pruning.
