About This Hosta
Hosta 'Spartacus' is a green centered sport of hosta 'Gulf Stream'. It forms a low spreading mound of elongated, heart-shaped leaves that are green with a yellow margin. It has the same wonderfully ruffled and serrated edge as its parent with numerous deep veins. 'Spartacus' really illuminates the garden with it's brightly contrasted leaves. Pale lavender flowers are produced in early summer.
