Hosta ‘Hans’ is a bold, blue hosta and a vigorous sport of Hosta ‘Andrew’, sharing its sibling’s distinctive character but with increased strength thanks to green streaking that develops in late summer. The thick, corrugated, puckered, and folded leaves feature subtle ruffling at the base and form a strong, symmetrical mound with excellent durability and slug resistance. Glaucous blue-green, rounded foliage displays a showy, wide, feathery white centre with green jetting between the centre and margin. It holds its colour well through the season in shade to part shade. Pale lavender flowers rise on sturdy stems in early to mid-summer. This striking hosta creates a bright spot in a shady garden.
