Weigela 'Sonic Bloom Pearl' is a repeat blooming shrub that really puts on a show. The large funnel-shaped clean white flowers have yellow throats. This plant flowers so heavily that the blooms cover the foliage. As the flowers age they turn a very soft pink producing multiple flower colours at the same time. This shrub is an excellent choice for incorporating into mixed plantings where it colour is easy to mix with shades of pinks, lavenders and purples. It is useful as well in butterfly gardens, wildflower gardens and foundation plantings.

Weigela 'Sonic Bloom Pearl' is an easy care shrub that is adaptable to a range of soil conditions. It grows best in well drained soil in full sun, but will tolerate very light shade. In too much shade it will be leggy and will not bloom well. It is also tolerant of clay soil. It can be pruned after flowering to shape the plant. It is a fast growing, low maintenance shrub.
