Common Lilac

'Agincourt Beauty' has deep violet, sweetly fragrant, single florets arranged in dense, pyramidal panicles which cover the shrub with bloom in early May. The florets are among the largest of any of the lilacs. All the nostalgia of lilac fragrance, in a standout royal colour.

Growing and Maintenance Tips

Lilacs are generally very easy care shrubs. Plant them in full sun in moist, well drained soil. Lilacs do not like wet sites especially in the winter. Pruning should be done after spring bloom. Pruning will keep the shrub dense and well shaped and increase the amount of flowers.
