Growing and Maintenance Tips

Thalictrum likes rich, well drained soil that has been enriched with compost. They will grow in full sun to partial shade. They do require some direct sunlight to prevent them from flopping. The flower heads are very airy so they can be situated in the middle of the border and cut down to the foliage after flowering.
