Dwarf Perennial Sunflower

With a habit much like a dahlia, the colourful blossoms of Helianthus 'Happy Days' are perched atop upright plants with purple, branched stems and dark green leaves. The large pom pom-like blooms are bright yellow with a deeper golden eye. 'Happy Days' is relatively short for a Helianthus, so it works well in the middle of the flower border. It blooms from mid summer well into the fall. 'Happy Days' is also excellent for cutting and is a nectar rich food source for pollinators.
