Growing and Maintenance Tips

Gypsophila needs full sun and soil that is on the alkaline side. Lime can be added at planting time if the soil is acid. Good drainage is also essential for the health of this plant. It is extremely tap rooted and should not be disturbed once established. Trim the plants back in the spring not the fall.
