'Aloha' is a beautifully fragrant Echinacea that will be a star performer in the landscape. It grows quickly to form a bushy clump of strong, upright stems and rich green foliage. Masses of elegant yellow flowers with an orange cone shine brightly atop tall stems which make them perfect for fresh bouquets. The flowers lighten to soft yellow as they age. 'Aloha' is a very long bloomer, often showing color from early summer through early fall. Butterflies delight in their sweet nectar all season.

Growing and Maintenance Tips

Coneflowers are the ideal perennial for hot sunny sites. Plant them in shade and they will flop and produce very few flowers. Loamy, well drained soil is ideal to produce the best bloom and winter hardiness. Heavy soils can lead to winter rot. Leave the seed heads to stand for winter food for finches and other birds.
