About This Daylily
'Storm Shelter' has mauve blossoms with an enormous eggplant purple eye that extends nearly to the edge of the petals. The same eggplant colour also makes a wide band around the heavily piecrusted edges. The flower petals are elegantly rounded and have great substance, standing up well to sun and weather. This new introduction from Proven Winners is a really unique daylily.
