Pinus sylvestris 'Hillside Creeper' spreads out and forms a dense mat of layered branches covered with thick green needles. This vigourous hardy Scotch Pine is lighter green in winter. It makes an excellent groundcover option for banks or walls or tucked in around boulders.

Growing and Maintenance Tips

'Hillside Creeper' is easy to grow in average well drained soil in full sun. It tolerates a wide range of soil conditions as long s drainage is good. It grows quickly at first but as it ages the growth rate slows down.
