'Angel Falls' Eastern White Pine

Originating from a seedling of Pinus strobus 'Pendula' in 1981, this slow-growing selection from Iseli Nursery has very long, very narrow, light green needles and a strong weeping habit. 'Angel Falls' has closely held branches that develop a graceful draping form. It has a tall, narrow stature with a broad, flowing skirt and branches that turn slightly outward as they weep down. It was named for the world's tallest waterfall. It is a very unique tree that adds elegance to any landscape.

Growing and Maintenance Tips

'Angel Falls' grows in well drained soil that has been amended with organic material.  It prefers soil that is acidic and will not tolerate a wet site.  It also shows good resistance to pests.  It is not shade tolerant. 'Angel Falls' can be staked to whatever height you desire. It will cascade down from the point where the stake is removed.
