Goldilocks Japanese White Pine is a compact, slow-growing evergreen conifer prized for its striking golden-yellow needles. The soft, twisted needles emerge bright gold in spring and hold their colour well through the growing season, creating a luminous effect in the landscape. Growing and Maintenance Tips
Japanese white pine grows best in sun but avoid very hot exposed sites. It needs well-drained soil, preferring slightly acidic conditions. Minimal pruning is needed, though candles can be lightly pinched in spring to maintain shape and encourage dense growth. This slow-growing conifer benefits from protection from harsh winter winds.
