Dwarf Norway Spruce

Picea abies 'Mikulášovice' is a highly desirable and distinctive selection of Norway spruce. It's overall form is an irregular globe with dense random branches that hold very thick dark green needles.  Extraordinarily thick terminal shoots with longer, thicker needles often appear to add to the visual effect. This is a great choice for collectors in search of unusual looking conifers.  After 10 years of growth, a mature specimen will measure 12 to 18 inches (30 - 45 cm) tall with an annual growth rate of 1 to 1.5 inches (2.5 - 3.5 cm).
