Golden Korean Fir

Especially in winter this striking Korean Fir really lives up to its name. It features many shoots with short wide needles that are light yellow with white undersides. This compact mid sized selection from Holland develops an irregular, spreading shape. In late winter buds with a purple cast appear.

Growing and Maintenance Tips

Abies koreana 'Golden Glow' requires rich, moist well drained soil and protection from hot afternoon sun. It prefers soil on the acid to neutral soil and will struggle in clay soil because it does not like wet feet.
