About This Hosta

Hosta 'Cranberry Wine' has thick, wavy leaves with elegantly ruffled edges that emerge bright gold in the spring. The leaves will turn chartreuse by mid summer but the plant remains very striking because of the leaf shape. Situating the plant in morning sun will keep the hostas brighter for longer. In mid summer the petioles become cranberry coloured and striped purple flowers are produced on cranberry coloured scapes.
