Spirea 'Candy Corn' is one of the most eye popping spirea yet. The first growth in the spring is candy apple red. As the season progresses the older foliage turns a pineapple yellow providing a striking contrast with the orangey red new growth. In late spring dark purple blooms are produced.

If you wish, you can give it a trim after the flowers fade, which will encourage even more colorful new growth. Double Play® spiraea are typically ignored by deer and even rabbits, and are quite drought tolerant after a year or two in the ground.
