Pruning and Container Workshops
On June 18th we are hosting a Pruning Workshop with Allan Goodard of Almonte Landscape Services at 10:30 am. At 1:30 pm our in house garden designer, Don Lewis, will be showing you how to make interesting containers using perennials, conifers and tropicals. He will also share his secrets for overwintering many varieties of tender plants so they can be reused in next years gardens. Please preregister for this workshop since space is limited.
GARDEN DESIGN DAY
Every Saturday is "Garden Design Day" at the nursery. Book an appointment with our very talented garden designer, Don Lewis and get some free help with you garden planning. Bringing photos of the space you are working on as well as garden dimensions will provide Don with the information he needs to give you the best advice.
KEMPTVILLE HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY
On September 7th at 7:30 Suzanne and Bruce will be doing a presentation for the Kemptville Horticultural Society on fall colour in the garden. For more information please visit their website.
BARRHAVEN GARDEN CLUB
On Wednesday May 11th at 7:30 Suzanne and Bruce will be speaking at the Barhaven Garden club on Daylilies and Companion plants
OVER THE HEDGE GARDEN TOUR
On June 25 and 26th we welcome the car rally participants in the "Over the Hedge Garden Tour". We are delighted to be a check point on this wonderful fund raiser for the Ottawa Botanical Garden Society
PEONY BLOOM
During the month of June hundreds of peonies will be in bloom in our garden. The species peonies sometimes bloom as early as the beginning of June. The late blooming peonies often last into early July. If you want to be notified when peonies are in bloom in the garden please subscribe to our newsletter.

BLOOMFEST
From Wednesday July 20th to Sunday July 31st thousands of daylilies will be at peak bloom. Daylilies can be bought while they are blooming. Fresh divisions planted in late July will settle in easily in your garden and be well established by the following year.
