To those who packaged my perennials, a mother’s day gift from my daughter:
My precious box of plants arrived June 16, very green and moist. I planted
them in the evening in a flower bed I enjoy viewing from my kitchen window.
The ones I chose are all new to me and it will be fun watching them grow and
develop. The two extra perennials packed with those I chose are much
appreciated. They too are unfamiliar to me and I look forward to caring for
them.

Just a short note along with this order to let you know just how well the
plants I received from you this past spring are doing. They are all great and
the free gifts are much appreciated. Eupatorium ‘Chocolate’ is really looking
great and the Siberian iris are such large divisions. Thank you for providing
such a large selection of perennials in your catalogue; it is always a
pleasure to look through it, something which I do again and again.

Some of the daylilies I would recommend to anyone for sheer beauty and great

Dear Suzanne,
This spring I ordered mostly hostas from your catalogue. I have to tell you,
when I opened that box, it was full of perky solid plants. None of those
hostas had the faintest idea that they were in a box with no soil on their
roots. They were not wilted and never did wilt. In fact, most of them sent up
flower stalks this year. I am thrilled with the superior quality of your
plants and look forward eagerly to next year’s box of goodies.
